Daycard is a native planner for Apple Reminders. It has no account system, advertising, tracking SDK, analytics service, or server-side reminder database.

Reminder data

With your permission, Daycard reads and changes reminders, reminder lists, titles, notes, URLs, location, priority, dates, alerts, completion state, and recurrence information through Apple’s EventKit framework. That data remains in the Reminder accounts configured on your device, such as iCloud. OmarKnows does not receive or store it.

Daycard stores its half-filled in-progress marks and custom task order locally and in your private iCloud key-value store so they can follow you between Daycard on iPhone and Mac. These records are keyed to Reminder identifiers, removed when you delete a reminder in Daycard, retired after a reminder has been absent for 90 days, and purged after a one-year tombstone period. OmarKnows cannot access this private iCloud data.

Apple Foundation Models

When enabled and available, Daycard uses Apple’s on-device Foundation Models framework to interpret text you type or dictate, including a task title, date, time, and list. The app does not send that text to OmarKnows or to a third-party language-model API.

If the on-device model is unavailable, Daycard uses a local fallback and saves the reminder without remote processing.

Dictation

Dictation uses Apple’s Speech Recognition and microphone frameworks. Speech processing behavior depends on the language, device, Apple settings, and Apple’s service availability. Daycard does not operate its own speech service and does not retain audio recordings after the active dictation session.

Permissions

Reminders lets Daycard show and update your Reminder lists, recurrence, and subtasks.
Microphone captures audio only while you actively dictate a task.
Speech Recognition converts that active dictation into text.

You can change these permissions at any time in system Settings. Removing Reminders access prevents Daycard from displaying or changing reminder data.

OmarKnows does not sell, rent, or share Daycard reminder data with advertisers or data brokers. Daycard does not include cross-app tracking.
