What are the Annual and Lifetime options?
Daycard offers Annual access, an auto-renewing subscription, and Lifetime access, a one-time purchase. Both unlock Daycard. The app and Apple’s purchase confirmation show the price for your region before you buy.
How does the free trial work?
Eligible Apple Accounts can try the Annual plan free for one month. Apple determines eligibility, so the trial may not appear if you have already used an introductory offer for Daycard. Check the offer shown in the app and Apple’s confirmation before subscribing.
After the trial, Annual access renews at the displayed annual price unless you cancel. To avoid a trial renewal charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Lifetime access does not include a subscription or a recurring charge.
How do I restore a purchase?
Sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account you used to buy Daycard, open Daycard’s purchase or premium management screen, and choose Restore Purchases. An active Annual subscription or Lifetime purchase can be restored without buying again. Restoration needs an internet connection.

How do I cancel Annual access?
On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Daycard, then choose the cancellation option. You can also open Manage Subscription in Daycard. Follow Apple’s confirmation to check when access ends. Deleting Daycard does not cancel a subscription. See Apple’s cancellation guide.
Does buying Lifetime cancel my Annual subscription?
No. Lifetime access unlocks Daycard, but Apple keeps your Annual subscription active until you cancel it separately. Use Manage Subscription or the Settings steps above to stop future Annual renewals.
Quick answers
Why is a reminder missing from Today?
Today includes unfinished reminders due today or earlier. It also includes reminders whose completion timestamp is today. Completed reminders from previous days are intentionally left off the card.
Check the reminder’s due date and list in Apple’s Reminders app. Someday is a dedicated Reminder list: Daycard shows only reminders in a list named Someday, and offers to create that list when it is missing.
Will completing a repeating reminder break its recurrence?
No. Daycard completes the current Reminder occurrence through EventKit so Apple can create the next scheduled occurrence. It does not replace the reminder with an unrelated copy.
Why do subtasks appear as regular tasks?
Apple’s EventKit framework does not expose the parent-child relationship used by Reminders. Daycard therefore shows every reminder EventKit returns as a regular task and does not create a separate private hierarchy.
What does the half-filled circle mean?
It marks a task as in progress without completing the Apple Reminder. Daycard syncs this mark and your custom task order through your private iCloud key-value store. Old records are retired automatically when reminders disappear or are deleted.
Why did natural-language parsing use the fallback?
Apple Foundation Models availability depends on the device, language, and Apple Intelligence setup. When the model is unavailable, Daycard still saves the line using the current card and default list. Nothing is sent to a Daycard server.
Why is dictation unavailable?
Dictation needs both Microphone and Speech Recognition permission. Open Settings → Apps → Daycard and allow both. Apple Speech availability can also depend on the selected language and network or on-device language support.
How do I restore Reminders access?
Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Reminders → Daycard and allow full access. Daycard cannot display or update lists without that permission.
